| IX. How to Register |

| 1. Registration requirements |
|
1. 100KM
1) Ages 18 or older (born on or before May 8, 1992)
2) Provide at least one of following certificates
i. 100KM Result Certificate from The North Face 100® 2009
Beijing Changping Outdoor Endurance
Challenge Run;
ii. Or at least three full marathon result certificates
(including one result better than 3
hours 45 minutes in past two years)
iii. Or at least three long distance running events (longer
than 40KM) result certificates with
good results
3) Health certificate: Chinese participants must also provide the health
certificate issued after May 8, 2009
including but not limited to the
following:
i. Cardio-pulmonary, Chest X-ray and blood pressure level are
within normal range and all meet
running requirements;
ii. The certificates need to be issued by eligible medical
organizations.
4) The Organizing Committee reserves final and absolute right to
determine registrants’ enrollment in
the race.
2. 50KM
1) Ages 18 or older (born on or before May 8, 1992)
2) Provide at least one of following certificates
i. 100KM or 40KM Result Certificates from The North Face 100®
2009 Beijing Changping Outdoor
Endurance Challenge Run;
ii. Or Finisher Certificates of half marathon (21.0975KM) in
past 2 years;
iii. Or other long distance running events’ (longer than
20KM) finisher certificate in past 2
years
3) Chinese participants need to provide the health certificate issued
after May 8, 2009
i. Cardio-pulmonary, Chest X-ray and blood pressure level are
within normal range and all meet
running requirements;
ii. The certificates need to be issued by eligible medical
organizations.
4) The Organizing Committee reserves final and absolute right to
determine registrants’ enrollment in
the race.
3. 10KM
1) There’s no minimum age requirement for 10KM, however children under 18
years old must provide written
approval by his or her guardian.

| 2. Health
Requirements |
|
It is essential that participants
select the appropriate race
distance, based on their preparation
and experience. And they must ensure
they are physically and mentally
ready for a race of this distance.
The Organizing Committee recommends
runners suffering from the following
diseases should take particular
precaution to participate in any of
the race disciplines and
participation is at his or her own
risk.
1. Congenital or rheumatic heart disease;
2. Hypertension or cerebrovascular disease;
3. Myocarditis and other heart disease;
4. Coronary artery disease and serious arrhythmia;
5. Diatetes;
6. Any other diseases which can be aggravated by running

Beijing (refer to Appendix III. for
locations). You can complete the
form and submit to the Organizing
Committee;

2. Group registration
1) Receive 20% discount if 50+ registrants

| 6. Registration
confirmation |
|
1. 100KM and 50KM
1) The Organizing Committee
will screen each registrant’s
information and upon the receipt of
required certificates, the qualified
registrants will receive a
“Registration Qualification
Confirmation” email; then the
registrant should pay registration
fee to complete the registration
process and receive a “Registration
Successful” email, which confirms
registration is complete.
2) Do not make payment UNTIL
receiving “Registration
Qualification Confirmation” email to
ensure your request to participate
has been accepted by the Organizing
Committee.
2. 10KM
1) After submitting the
registration information and paying
the fee, runners will receive a
“Registration Successful” email.
3. The Organizing Committee reserves
the right to accept or refuse entry
for any reason.
4. The registration fee is
non-negotiable and non-refundable
once paid. |
